We’re looking for an Intermediate Systems Engineering Analyst to work with our Applications team. In this role you will help shape the evolution of the Land Command Support System (LCSS) network.

The LCSS enables command, control, and communication across Canada’s Army operations. In this role, you’ll contribute to key architectural and design decisions by collaborating closely with DND and program teams. Document system and subsystem requirements specifications, interface control documents, design documents and use cases.

Manage System Problem

Reports (SPRs) and Observations by providing proper upfront analysis and input to support bug fixes as well as see the proper close out of each SPR.



Provide guidance and support to the development teams for the implementation and revision of capabilities within LCSS. Support integration and test activities, including reviewing test cases, analyzing results, and helping resolve discrepancies.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable scientific discipline is required. ~2+ years System Engineering or Systems Architecture experience. ~ Experience and working knowledge of systems engineering tools including DOORS (Preferred DOORS Next Generation), Rational Team Concert (RTC) and UML/SysML. ~ Solid problem solving and root cause analysis skills. ~ Reasonable understanding of SW, FW, operating systems, data terminals, and basic networking. ~ It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems – Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
