Job Title: Security Guard – Must Have Own Vehicle | Barrie, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge & Huntsville

Location: Barrie, ON and surrounding areas

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time / Casual – Multiple Shifts Available

We are currently hiring licensed Security Guards with their own reliable vehicle for multiple security assignments in and around Barrie, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville, and surrounding areas.

Due to the locations of these assignments, having your own vehicle is mandatory. We are looking for dependable and professional guards who are comfortable travelling to different sites and working a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and event coverage.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a professional and visible security presence
- Conduct regular foot and site patrols
- Monitor properties and designated areas for suspicious or unauthorized activity
- Protect client property and event equipment
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Follow site-specific post orders and client instructions
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Communicate promptly with dispatch and supervisors
- Provide skilled customer service when interacting with clients and the public

Requirements




- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence – Mandatory
- Own reliable vehicle – Mandatory
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability and willingness to travel to Barrie, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville and nearby areas
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Reliable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to conduct patrols and remain on duty for extended shifts
- Available for days, evenings, overnight and weekend shifts
- Previous security experience is an asset
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset

Multiple Shifts Available We have upcoming and ongoing opportunities across the Barrie/Muskoka region, including Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville. Some assignments involve outdoor/event security and overnight coverage, so applicants must be comfortable travelling and working independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per year

Education

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- Tactical Security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Security Guard Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
- 50% (preferred)
