About the Assignment

This is a short-term opportunity to represent a Vancouver, BC-based company at a major industry conference in Montreal. The successful candidate will work alongside our company representatives and play an important role in creating a welcoming booth experience, promoting our products, and generating quality business leads.

Job Type: Temporary / Short-Term Contract

Event Dates: September 17, 18 & 19, 2026

Schedule: Full-day shifts – availability for all three days is required

Compensation: $20 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an outgoing, confident, and professional Trade Show Representative to represent our company at an upcoming trade show in Montreal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and engaging attendees, introducing our company and products, communicating key product and promotional information, and helping our team identify and capture prospective customer leads.

This is a temporary position for September 17, 18, and 19, 2026, and candidates must be available for full-day shifts on all three event days.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and proactively engage trade show attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Introduce attendees to our company, products, and services.
- Clearly communicate product information, pricing, and current promotional offers.
- Answer basic questions from prospective customers.
- Collect and accurately record attendee names, contact information, and relevant business details.




- Identify and document prospective customers' product interests and potential requirements.
- Direct qualified leads and more detailed product inquiries to the appropriate members of our team.
- Maintain an organized, professional, and approachable presence at the trade show booth.
- Assist with general booth activities and other event-related duties as required.

Qualifications

- Must be available for full-day shifts on September 17, 18, and 19, 2026.
- Outgoing, confident, professional, and comfortable initiating conversations with attendees.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and clearly communicate basic product and promotional information.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, promotions, brand representation, events, or trade shows is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when collecting lead information.
- Ability to remain professional, enthusiastic, and engaged throughout the event.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a strong asset.
