Responsibilities
- Remove and install tires using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth to ensure safety standards are met
- Balance tires accurately to provide a smooth driving experience for customers
- Perform routine maintenance on tire equipment and tools to maintain optimal operation
- Assist customers with tire-related questions, recommendations, and sales opportunities
- Lift heavy tires safely and efficiently during installation and removal processes
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs quickly while maintaining high quality standards
Skills
- Prior dealership experience or background in automotive repair highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and tire components
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, pry bars, and screwdrivers
- Experience using power tools for tire mounting and dismounting processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during busy shifts
- Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures and safety protocols
- Sales aptitude to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate tire solutions
