Shay Tire is looking for a full-time Tire, Oil, and Lube Technician! This position will be responsible for changing passenger tires, performing oil changes, and other duties as required.

We’re looking for someone who is motivated and ambitious, and who is willing to learn and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.

This is a physically demanding job with heavy lifting and requires you to be on your feet, bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing passenger and light truck tires/wheels
- Unloading and loading shipments as needed
- Replace oil, air, and fuel filters

- Cleaning/organizing shop
- Assisting mechanics and performing other duties as needed

Requirements and Skills
- Able to work full-time hours including some Saturdays




- 1-year experience changing tires is an asset, but not needed if willing to learn
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to provide a driving record (abstract) from Access NS
