Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of freight shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal resource utilization. Your proactive communication skills and technical expertise will drive efficiency across our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- To plan dispatch runs in an economical and timely manner, confer with the supervisor
- As needed, maintain regular communication with the billing, safety, and accounting departments.
- Organize and oversee the logistics of the transportation of components, materials, and supplies inside a business, making sure that these items are delivered and received on time.
- Prepare and handle all customs paperwork for shipments from the US and other countries.
- Work with the clients and drivers to ensure that the shipment is delivered on time.
- Using computerized or manual processes,
create and maintain a variety of reports on the work's progress.
Experience
- Proven experience working with transportation management systems (TMS), especially TransPlus Fleet Manager or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, freight operations, and third-party logistics (3PL) coordination.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation requirements for cross-border shipments such as ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) and ACI (Automated Commercial Interface).
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret logistics data and optimize routing strategies.
- Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and managing multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional communication skills.
- Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and SyteLine ERP system is preferred.

Pay: $37.50 per hour
