for a Trauma Therapist

At Ethos Psychotherapy and Assessment Centre, we are currently seeking Registered Psychologists, Social Workers, or Psychotherapists to provide individual trauma therapy with adults, using EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and/or Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). This position is a part time (15 hours/week) contractor position with a hybrid of in-person and virtual therapy.

We are located in Port Credit, Mississauga at 20 Stavebank Road, Unit 201, on the West side of Stavebank Road, North of Lakeshore Road between Hurontario Street and Mississauga Road.

There are many different shifts available including:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday days (9-3pm);

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (3-9pm).

Qualifications





- The ideal candidate has a Masters or PhD degree and is Registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- 3 years of experience providing EMDR, CPT, or TF-CBT required
- 3-5 years of experience providing CBT therapy required
- If Candidate is a Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist, they must be eligible for registration with WSIB to provide therapy in their mental health program
- If Candidate is a registered Psychologist: 1) They must have a declared competency in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and competency to work with adults, 2) Registration to provide Veterans Affairs assessment and therapy is preferred, and 3) Ability to supervise psychoeducational assessments is an asset
- Couples therapy is preferred
- Competency to work with children and adolescents is an asset
- Clinical supervision experience is an asset
