About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Moncton, NB.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our commercial truck and trailer fleet, ensuring our equipment remains safe, reliable, and road-ready.

Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and air systems
- Perform trailer repairs and maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete necessary repairs
- Perform inspections and repairs to ensure equipment meets safety requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
- Identify potential issues before they result in equipment downtime
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform emergency or breakdown repairs when required

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Truck & Trailer Mechanic, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, or similar role
- Experience working on commercial trucks and trailers




- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension
- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver’s licence
- Red Seal / Journeyman certification is considered an asset
- Commercial vehicle inspection experience is considered an asset
