Full-Time Automotive Dismantler

Hanks Auto Wreckers is looking for a reliable, hardworking Automotive Dismantler to join our team full-time.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works safely and efficiently, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced indoor automotive environment.

Responsibilities

- Safely and properly drain and dismantle cars, trucks and SUVs
- Remove automotive parts carefully and efficiently
- Test parts and components where applicable
- Inspect parts to ensure they are suitable for resale or delivery
- Assist with preparing and organizing parts for incoming and outgoing shipments when required
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures
- Work independently while also assisting other team members when needed

Qualifications & Requirements

- Automotive or mechanical experience is preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have your own basic tools
- Larger shop tools,



equipment and consumables are provided
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 40 kg (approximately 88 lbs.)
- Able to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Dependable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Strong attention to safety and detail
