York Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for another veterinarian to join our team!
We are a privately owned small-animal hospital in North York, opened in 2024. We are a young practice that has been steadily growing, and we are now looking for a part-time veterinarian to join us as we continue to build our hospital and client base.
We are a small, friendly practice where we really value our relationships with our clients, patients and staff. We’re looking for someone who enjoys practicing good medicine but also understands the importance of making clients feel comfortable, heard and cared for.
The Position
This is a part-time position with flexibility in scheduling. We are happy to discuss days and hours based on your availability and what works for both you and the hospital.
Our caseload is primarily dogs and cats, and we see a good mix of wellness, preventative care and medical cases. There are also opportunities for surgery and dentistry depending on your experience and interests.
You will be working alongside an experienced veterinary team in a supportive environment, with the opportunity to get to know your patients and clients and develop long-term relationships with them.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario and in good standing with the CVO
- Experienced in small-animal general practice
- Compassionate and genuinely enjoys working with both pets and their people
- A good communicator who takes the time to explain things to clients
- Comfortable working independently while also being a team player
- Reliable, professional and committed to providing excellent patient care
- Someone who wants to be part of a growing practice, rather than simply work a few shifts and leave
We are open to speaking with veterinarians with different levels of experience. The right personality and fit for our team are just as important to us as years of experience.
