Duties

- Research and gather relevant information on organizational activities, community stories, and upcoming events to include in newsletters
- Write clear, compelling, and well-structured newsletter articles that resonate with diverse audiences
- Proofread all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency before publication
- Collaborate with team members to plan content themes and editorial calendars for regular newsletter releases
- Use word processing software to format and finalize newsletter drafts for distribution




- Assist in designing visually appealing layouts that enhance readability and engagement
- Maintain an organized archive of past newsletters and related materials for easy reference

Requirements

- Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives across various topics
- Strong proofreading and copy editing skills to ensure error-free content
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and gather necessary information
- Ability to conduct research efficiently to find accurate and relevant content sources
- Proficiency in word processing tools such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs
- Experience or interest in research, storytelling, or nonprofit communications is a plus
- Reliable time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
