We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support our operations as a mechanized welding systems provider to the pipeline industry. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse and yard
- Manage inventory movement using our enterprise resource planner
- Perform order picking and packing with precision to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by inspecting inbound/outbound shipments, verifying documentation, and ensuring proper load & unload procedures
- Maintain safety standards through regular inspections of equipment and work areas
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or higher education attainment is preferred
- Prior experience working in a warehouse workplace or in logistics is highly preferred
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers; certification is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or ERPs preferred
- Ability to consistently handle loads between 50 to 70 lbs; physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, or manual labor
- Construction or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required
- Strong attention to detail for order picking, packaging, and shipping accuracy
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Benefits will apply after a 90-day probationary period. Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
