Golden Gate Inc. is looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Lead / Supervisor to help oversee our day-to-day warehouse operations in St. Catharines, Ontario.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will coordinate daily warehouse activities, provide direction to warehouse staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure orders and shipments are completed efficiently.

Forklift operation is a mandatory part of this position. Candidates must have previous forklift operating experience and a valid forklift certification. The successful candidate will regularly operate the forklift as part of their daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and prioritize daily warehouse activities and tasks.
- Provide direction and support to warehouse employees.
- Regularly operate the forklift to load and unload trucks and containers, move pallets, and organize merchandise.
- Perform manual loading and unloading of merchandise when required.
- Assist with picking and packing orders when needed.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, and preparing shipments when needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory and perform regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare daily routes for drivers.
- Maintain organized warehouse locations and follow FIFO procedures for food inventory.
- Ensure proper food handling, safety,



and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized warehouse.
- Train and support warehouse employees and lead by example.
- Communicate operational, inventory, safety, and shipping issues to management.
- Assist with basic maintenance, mechanical, or warehouse improvement tasks when required.

Pay: $0.19-$0.29 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
