Job Summary We are hiring licensed hair stylists who want to be paid for what they produce. This is a commission-based role in a busy, established First Choice Haircutters location with steady walk-in traffic, so you can build your book from day one instead of starting from zero.
If you have an existing clientele, we welcome it. If you are building one, our walk-in volume gives you the traffic to do it fast. What sets us apart: we provide the most comprehensive training in the market. Beyond technical skills, you get structured training in marketing, salon operations, and sales, so you learn how to grow your income, not just cut hair.
What You Will Do Provide haircuts, styling, colour, highlights, and treatments for men, women, and children
Deliver the First Choice Haircutters service menu to brand standards
Consult with clients, recommend services, and build repeat visits
Recommend and sell retail products
Keep your station clean, sanitized, and organized
Support a positive, team-first salon environment
What We Are Looking For Ontario hairstylist certification (Certificate of Qualification) or equivalent recognized credential
Minimum 1 year of salon experience




Strong cutting skills across all hair types and ages
Comfortable with a rapid-paced walk-in environment
Friendly, reliable, and professional
Existing clientele is an asset but not required
Compensation and Benefits Tiered commission on all services performed: 30% base, rising to 35% and 40% as your weekly sales grow, paid every pay period
