Duties

- Measure openings accurately using blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure proper fitment of windows and doors
- Install current windows and doors following safety protocols, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices
- Remove old or damaged windows and doors with precision using hand tools and construction techniques
- Seal gaps with caulking to ensure energy efficiency, weatherproofing, and soundproofing standards are met
- Read schematics and construction drawings to coordinate installation processes effectively
- Perform restoration tasks such as drywall repair, painting, or flooring installation as needed during projects




- Collaborate with team members on complex installations involving plumbing, welding, or carpentry skills
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools like hand tools, ensuring safety compliance throughout each project

Experience

- Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with a focus on window and door installation
- Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, saws, hammers, levels, and measuring tapes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking techniques, and general restoration processes
- Familiarity with other construction trades including painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and working at heights
- Prior experience working with schematics or technical instructions related to building components
