Job Title: Head Coach

Position Type: Seasonal (Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities)

Hours: 5-40 hours per week

- Summer Camps: Up to 40 hrs/week (8 hrs/day, 1 to 6 weeks)
- Year-Round: Part-time (evenings & weekends)

Location: Ottawa, ON (Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean) Compensation: $20-35/hr depending on experience

Ottawa Fusion Volleyball Club is seeking dedicated and experienced coaches to join our team as Head Coaches for our Indoor Summer Volleyball Camps and Development Programs (ages 9-15).

- Summer: Full time coaching opportunities during our indoor volleyball camps
- Year-Round: Part-time coaching during evening and weekend development programs

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and instruct engaging volleyball training sessions
- Develop young athletes (ages 9-15) into well-rounded and skilled players
- Plan and implement effective training drills and strategies
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Provide constructive feedback to help players improve
- Collaborate with our coaching team to ensure program success

Qualifications ✔ Previous coaching experience, especially with young athletes





✔ Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules

✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills

✔ Willingness to work evenings/weekends (year-round) and daytime (summer)

✔ Valid Police Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Screening (or willingness to obtain)

Bonus Qualifications

➕ Valid Coaching Certification

➕ Valid First Aid Certification
