Tacten is in search of qualified Journeyperson Pipefitters to join our project team at Syncrude. Candidates should have strong pipefitting skills, including installation, maintenance, and repair, along with effective communication abilities.
This temporary full-time role includes opportunities for further mobilizations based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Assemble and modify piping systems according to specs
- Measure, cut, and thread pipes using precision techniques
- Inspect and troubleshoot piping systems effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and codes
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification or registered apprentice
- IRATA Level 1 certification or willingness to train
- Experience with industrial piping systems and environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work comfortably at heights
