As a facilitator, you will collaborate with local leaders to plan, implement, and evaluate social and recreational programs for autistic individuals and their families. This role emphasizes community-based support and requires recruitment and management of volunteers while ensuring an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct program support for individuals with autism • Assess, plan, and evaluate social and recreation activities • Model positive behaviors and support to volunteers and families • Ensure participant health, safety,
and well-being during activities • Communicate effectively with staff and program participants
Requirements: • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred • Explicit criminal record check and child abuse registry review needed • 1-3 years’ experience with autistic individuals preferred • Certifications in First Aid or ASIST Training preferred • Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle necessary
