A 2D Animator/Illustrator is sought to create animation assets for a new children’s YouTube channel designed to provide calm, magical bedtime storytelling for children aged 2–6. The work will involve producing a 20–25 second intro, a 20 second outro, and 4–6 short animations of a recurring animated co-host, Gerry the Giraffe, suitable for integration with live-action footage. The role requires refining existing sketches into polished, production-ready assets in a warm, picture-book style, matching provided music, sketches, and storyboards. Deliverables must include layered source files with full commercial rights, prepared for export in 1080p/4K resolution. Requirements Proven experience in 2D animation and illustration, preferably in children’s media Ability to work in a warm, hand-illustrated picture-book aesthetic with soft lines and gentle pastel tones Skilled in creating smooth, bedtime-friendly animations with subtle pacing Experience designing expressive, whimsical animal characters and storybook environments Proficiency with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects,
