FTE: Casual PROGRAM: Continuing Care Centre REPORTS TO: Nutrition Services Supervisor

SUMMARY OF WORK: The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving meals according to individualized dietary requirements, assisting with meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen workplace. Setting up and clearing the dining tables before and after each meal.

PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL QUALITIES:

Experience:

1 -3 years of dietary aide experience in a healthcare facility (Hospital, retirement home, long-term care setting), restaurant, or day care.

Education:

Minimum Grade 12 Diploma and/or Graduate of recognized Culinary Skills program.

Certification: Food safety Handling is

Mandatory Maintain CPR, First Aid, WHIMIS

Understanding of the Blackfoot Culture and Language

SALARY RANGE:

In accordance with Blood Tribe Department of Health Inc. salary grid.
