POSITION SUMMARY: The Electrician is primarily responsible to service, maintain and test production equipment. This position will support production by trouble shooting problems, making repairs and system improvements (optimization). Assembles and installs new equipment and machines and is able to make modifications to existing equipment as requested. Carries out preventative maintenance procedures on electrical equipment as laid out by the manufacturer’s specifications. Coordinate activities of co-op students, apprentices, helpers and assigned contractors. Assist in determining and setting up spare part requirements. Perform all duties in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with the Karmax Environmental Policy Statement-3 P's. Prevent Pollution, Preserve Natural Resources & Protect our Environment.



Must be able to weld and fabricate as required. Hands on with power tools. Has valuable interpersonal and communication skills and is results oriented. Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies, Basic computer skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Team Player and results oriented. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Salary starting at $48.01 per hour. Immediate, open position. Certificate of Qualification Industrial Electrician 442 or Electrician 309. Awareness, Unity, Empowerment
