The Baker will be primarily based at Tim Hortons, and occaissonally support the Bistro/Pub.With the chance to try different flavors and baking styles, you'll follow mouth-watering recipes and work with top-of-the-line equipment to ?bake? your dreams come true. Come on board, ignite your passion, and start your sweet career with Aramark.Job ResponsibilitiesBakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipesSets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipmentPrepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.Safely uses a variety of utensils including knivesProperly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and proceduresCleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensilsMaintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitationAssist team members with preparing sandwiches and drinks as neededAssist team members in serving guests on the line as neededMay assist team members by processing guest transitions, using the POS machinesOther duties may be assignedAt Aramark,

In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications1+ years' experience as retail and/or franchise bakerPrevious experience working at Tim Hortons, or similar franchise an assetFluency in French and English an assetProven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storageValid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an assetKnowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygieneAdditional certification may be required by work locationAbility to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervisedExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer serviceAbility to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operationsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).This is a full-time, permanent position.
