Office Administrator.
What You Will Do The Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the General Manager and Finance Department, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.
A Day In The Life
Manage phone calls, emails, and general correspondence.
Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
Create and maintain Internals documents.
Assist with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices
Enter Payables
Data entry such as receipt of goods.
Communicate and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure the invoice is correct, accurate, and precise.
Greet clients and provide valuable customer service.
Provide general support to team members.
Monitor and Updating pricing across the sales platforms
Assisting with Inventory counts as required
Document and Submit Safety Toolbox Meetings
Compile and submit monthly safety stats to the Safety Department
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
What You Bring
High School Diploma
Previous training and/or experience in administration and one to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of various Sage 50 and/or QuickBooks accounting systems
Knowledge of Human Resources Application systems
Very good organizational skills
Very good interpersonal and communications skills and willingness to work as a member of a team
Very good office computer skills
Ability to undertake tasks and responsibilities with minimum supervision
Ability to deal with difficult people
Strong understanding of the human resource needs and priorities of the Company
Familiarity with Yellowknives Dene language, culture and way of life would be considered assets
