Senior Accountant supports the internal finance department by executing day-to-day accounting processes and delivering accurate, review-ready financial information. The role is hands‑on and execution-focused, responsible for completing assigned areas of the month‑end close, maintaining accounting accuracy, and ensuring timely follow‑up on receivables, invoicing, and payroll processing.Month‑End Close & Core AccountingPrepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and recurring entriesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesEnsure accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash activity are accurately reflected in the general ledgerMaintain accurate supporting documentation for all accounting entriesFinancial Reporting SupportPrepare draft financial statements and supporting schedules for Controller reviewPerform variance analysis versus prior periods and budget, with clear explanationsInvestigate unusual transactions or trends and escalate issues as requiredInvoicing & Accounts ReceivablePrepare and process internal invoicing accurately and timelyMonitor accounts receivable balances and perform follow‑up on outstanding itemsResolve billing discrepancies and support cash collection effortsPayroll ProcessingProcess payroll and related accounting entriesRecord payroll accruals, perks, and statutory remittancesSupport year‑end payroll reporting (T4s, reconciliations,
