What you’ll do:
- Own the Room: Lead monthly S&OP; meetings and deliver high-stakes presentations to senior management.
- Manage Expectations: Act as the voice of reason. You know how to get your point across clearly, manage stakeholders, and align cross-functional teams.
- Navigate Complexity: Manage complex, 5-month long lead times from initial product order to final arrival.
The Chance:
Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain Planning, the Senior Demand Planner works alongside other demand and replenishment planners as part of the Demand Planning team.
The role is accountable for delivering an accurate, rolling 12 month, SKU level demand plan for the assigned brands. Leveraging inputs from Commercial, Marketing, and Manufacturing, the Senior Demand Planner builds a demand plan that reflects business priorities and aligns with brand revenue targets. The role also entails rigorously monitoring performance and adjusting plans through the S&OP; process to keep demand variance and bias within established thresholds.

What Your Impact Will Be:
- Manage the Demand Planning process for select categories with a primary focus on creating accurate, SKU-level demand forecasts which reflect consumption trends as well as customer and business needs
- Capture and coordinate product and market intelligence from key stakeholders to help inform the monthly demand plan at the total market and SKU level
- Facilitate the monthly Consensus process with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. Monitor and adjust forecasts accordingly and identify critical issues and constraints alongside recommendations
- Focus on integration of critical Forecasting and Planning Milestones into the S&OP; process over and above baseline sales (Key Seasons/events, planogram launches, promotional activities, marketing activations etc)
- Prevent fill-rate from being a cause of lost sales by regular review and analysis of Demand Planning KPI’s to improve forecasting performance
- Work with Replenishment Planning to develop strategies and processes to drive improved customer fulfilment while optimizing item productivity
- Drive continued process improvement by leveraging and integrating globally standardized reports and processes. This includes driving adoption of analytics and reporting tools to drive uniformity and consistency in methodologies and approach.
- Proactive partnership with commercial teams includes strong communication and actively identifying constraints and challenges while developing solutions to mitigate impacts to our customers
- Participate on key global projects to drive Planning and Forecasting Transformation initiatives
- Support UAT testing to enhance functionality and performance of the Anaplan system.
- Achieve KPI targets for Demand Variance and Bias for each assigned brand
What we are looking for:
- CPG Experience: Proven track record in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
- Public Speaking Pro: Exceptional presentation skills and the confidence to brief senior executives.
- Solid Analytical Toolkit: Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs are second nature, though you don't need to be a macro/VBA power user).
- Immediate Availability: Ready to hit the ground running in a contract capacity.
