In this pivotal role, you will provide guidance on privacy compliance, particularly in relation to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). As a valued member of the Privacy Office, your technical skills will be integral in assessing risks and supporting various departments such as Transit Safety and AI initiatives. You'll lead strategic privacy projects and ensure best practices are maintained across Metrolinx operations.

Key Responsibilities:



• Ensure compliance with FIPPA and other privacy legislation • Promote best practices beyond standard legal requirements • Conduct privacy risk assessments and investigations • Lead privacy research and monitor industry trends • Collaborate with stakeholders on privacy initiatives

Requirements: • Degree in Public Policy, IT, or related field • Experience with privacy compliance in public sector • Robust knowledge of privacy legislation in Canada • Excellent interpersonal and advisory skills • Relevant designations from IAPP are a plus
