In this role, you’ll provide real‑time support for emergency incidents, monitor security systems, and dispatch responses to ensure the site’s safety and security. This position offers hands‑on experience in high‑stakes security dispatching, ideal for those looking to build or enhance careers in emergency response and security operations.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving emergency calls and obtaining information regarding the emergenciesDispatching the appropriate emergency service to the location of the incidentTransmit necessary information to field personnel via radio or telephone communication systemsPerform interface functions between Shell and the external agencies during a site‑wide emergency.Monitor all CCTV cameras and access control alarmsAnswer routine telephone and radio callsPrioritize calls for service and manpower allocationImmediately enact the public complaint process upon receipt of a public complaints or concern (i.E. noise complaints)Oversees basic operation of security alarm systemsPerform after hour callouts for personnelServe as the Emergency contact for Pipelines and Sherwood Marketing TerminalRequirementsDue to the safety requirements - must clear drug testing.Clean criminal RecordMust comply with the site's clean‑shave policy due to Health and Safety complianceHave knowledge of the standard radio and telephone communications receiving and transmitting equipment.Possess strong computer skills.Must have Alberta Security LicenseMust have Albert Driver's LicenseMust be able to work with minimal supervision.Have the ability to interpret and give both verbal and written instructions.Possess both excellent verbal and written communication skills.Have the ability to make sound decisions using all available information.Demonstrate the ability to appropriately respond to changing circumstances.Have excellent prioritization skills and be multi‑task orientated.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills including communicating effectively.Analyze situations quickly and make sound decisions in emergency and routine situations.Work in a fast‑paced workplace and be able to work under pressure.Ensure the confidentiality of all records containing personal information.Possess good hearing and vision (including color vision) appropriate for call‑taking/dispatching functions.Work 12‑hour rotating shifts including days,
