Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Cashier (15-24 hours/week) at our Food Store location in Wakaw, Saskatchewan.
What You Will Do:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Perform cashier duties, including assisting customers, processing purchases, bagging groceries,
and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately and efficiently process cash, debit, credit, and other payment transactions.
- Stock and face front-end merchandise with a focus on visually appealing presentation.
Who You Are:
- Attentive to detail and possess strong cash management skills.
- Able to work in a rapid-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing for extended periods with some repetitive motions.
- Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
- Flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
