We are hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support large-scale civil infrastructure and construction projects in Nunavut.This is an opportunity to work on some of Canada’s most unique and challenging projects while earning competitive pay, working rotational schedules, and having flights, accommodations, and meals fully covered.What You’ll Be Working OnProjects may include:Heavy civil constructionWater and sewer infrastructureRoads and airport projectsAggregate production and crushing operationsPiling and drilling operationsIndustrial and commercial constructionRemote Arctic infrastructure projectsResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and support fleetsPerform preventative maintenance and field repairsInspect equipment for faults and operational deficienciesRepair or replace defective mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical componentsMaintain accurate maintenance and service recordsSupport construction crews during active field operationsAssist with drilling and piling equipment maintenanceWork safely and independently in remote Arctic environmentsEquipment Experience Considered an AssetHeavy EquipmentCrushing & Aggregate EquipmentTrucks & Support FleetDrilling & Piling EquipmentQualificationsMinimum 3 years of heavy equipment mechanic experienceStrong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skillsExperience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Epiroc,
