The position helps keep facilities clean, protected, functional and ready for daily programs, public use and scheduled activities. The work includes facility upkeep, basic repairs, equipment operation, set‑up support and monitoring of public use in accordance with established procedures. Performs related duties as assigned.Required QualificationsEducation and TrainingHigh School (Grade 12)Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver's LicenseBuilding Service Worker 1Refrigeration Safety Awareness CertificateA.E.D. TrainingAbility to obtain the following training within the trial period: W.H.M.I.S. certificate; Confined Space Entry Training; S.C.B.A. Training;Chlorine Handling Training; Arena Icemaker Certificate; Pool Operator 1.ExperienceOne (1) year of related experience in custodial, facility maintenance, arena,
