Are you an expert in public company external reporting, including complex consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and intricate note disclosures? Are you a CPA-designated accountant with public accounting experience, bringing 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience to the table?Have you mastered the art of drafting technical accounting memos for complex M&A transactions and navigating valuation rules under IFRS? reviewing acquisition and disposition agreements, and writing comprehensive technical memos for corporate finance transactions.Complex Transactions: Handle intricate accounting entries related to M&A activities and execute both quarterly and annual impairment testing.Compliance & Audit: Calculate and report on quarterly covenant compliance. Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, managing the documentation and review process for separate legal entity financial statements.Cross-Functional Business Partnership: Partner seamlessly with operational finance and property management teams to interpret financial results, provide guidance on complex transactions, and implement current accounting policies.Process Improvement: Champion system enhancements, automation, and reporting best practices to continually optimize the corporate accounting function.QualificationsCanadian CPA designation is strictly required8+ years of robust experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate accounting team environmentExtensive public company external reporting experience is mandatoryDeep, highly technical knowledge of IFRS, financial accounting consolidation rules, and valuation principlesA proven track record of writing technical accounting memos related to corporate transactionsAdvanced Excel proficiency with the ability to manage, validate,
