FX Artist ResponsibilitiesCreate realistic effects including destruction, smoke, fire, and water.Work with supervisors to achieve aesthetic quality and technical accuracy.Collaborate with FX leads to produce elements using presets and templates, and expand upon them.Revise simulations based on client and supervisor feedback promptly.Coordinate with lighting to ensure seamless integration of FX.Work within the pipeline and suggest improvements.Develop new methods to enhance results.Debug issues and learn new methods.QualificationsPrevious experience in live‑action visual effects for feature films or high‑level television.Strong knowledge and experience with Houdini.Flowline experience is a plus but not required.Strong experience creating a wide variety of simulations (destruction, atmospheric, fluid, supernatural, etc.) with emphasis on fluids and water.Understanding of physics, realistic motion, and natural phenomena on different scales.Exceptional technical skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.Robust willingness to grow,
