Job DescriptionThe Jim Pattison Auto Group has an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to join our Jim Pattison Volkswagen Surrey dealership. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Service Department by accurately diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.As a Red Seal Technician, you take pride in delivering quality workmanship and contributing to an exceptional customer experience that reflects our strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Schedule:This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week, including Saturday rotations.Pay Range:$38-44 hourly flat rate depending on certification and level of experience.This role reports to the Service Manager of the dealership.Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standardsPerform thorough vehicle inspections with accurate documentation and measurementsIdentify mechanical and electrical issues, recommend solutions, and communicate findings clearly to Service teamPartner with Service Advisors to provide updates on repair timelines or recommend additional safety workConduct road tests and pre-delivery inspections on new inventory to ensure every vehicle leaving the shop is in top conditionCoordinate with the Parts Department to source what you need and manage warranty labelingAssist fellow technicians when needed to maintain overall shop productivityMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all timesFollow all company policies, procedures,
