Position SummaryNetwork Administrator II is responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's network infrastructure. They handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software. They also monitor network performance, security, and availability, and implement network upgrades and patches as needed. Additionally, they may be involved in network design and planning to meet the organization's current and future needs.Position Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures the efficient utilization of IT resources companywideConducts analysis of system performance, network and other IT activities to enhance overall service delivery to the businessTroubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceSupports the development and maintenance of all documentation related to network, operations, security and disaster recoveryConducts technology research and feasibility studies/testing for recent technologiesExecutes and assists in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of IT network systems, including wireless, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and other network related equipmentAdvanced knowledge of Azure VNets, subnets, NSGs, and Azure Firewall. Hybrid connectivity using Azure VPN, ExpressRoute gateways. Experience with Azure load balancers, App gateways, Hub and spoke design.Experience with administering Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine). Proficient in configuring 802.1X, MAB, and device profiling. Ability to design and maintain network access control (NAC) policies. Knowledge in integrating Cisco ISE with Active Directory, PKI, and network devices.Proficient in wireless technologies 5Ghz/6Ghz bands.



Ability to analyze Wi‑Fi performance issues using Ekahau Analyzer and Insights. Proficient in using Ekahau Pro for Wi‑Fi surveys, heatmapping, and predictive design.In depth knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP as well as static routes, floating routes, NAT, etc.Configuration of Netflow, CBQoS, AAA, Radius, SNMP on Cisco IOS/IOS-XE platformsEfficiently use various networking application software such as IPerf, Wireshark, Solarwinds to diagnose difficult networking problems and recommend solutions based on those findingsKnowledge and ability to solve problems involving VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP, STUNProficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowershellDesign and support various network types such as LAN, WAN, VPN, intranet and extranetMonitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningKnowledge of cloud networking in an Azure environment – connecting on-prem and cloud networksDesign and develop software defined networks (SDN/SD‑WAN) specifically HP SilverPeak Edge technologiesIdentify single points of failure and architect and design high availability solutions using Cisco campus design modelsThorough knowledge of all layers of the OSI model and able to apply them to solve real world problemsMust be a team player and exceptionally customer service orientedGood understanding of the organization’s goals and objectivesGood communication skills (verbal and written)Must be very organized, self‑motivated,
