Department of Medicine, McMaster University The Department of Medicine within the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, in partnership with Hamilton Health Sciencesinvitesapplicationsforan AcademicDermatologist. The successful candidateisexpected to fullyparticipatein allappropriate departmentaland divisional educational activities. Additionally, the applicantshoulddemonstratestrong interpersonal and collaborative skills, along with the drive to enhance both clinical and academic productivity within the Dermatology Division. A dedication toeducation at all levels iscritical, and interest in formal educational roles would be beneficial. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable). Academic rank will becommensuratewith the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will play an active role in the Division of Dermatology's clinical, educational, and academic activities. This includes delivering high-quality specialized dermatologic care, teaching and mentoring learners at all levels, and participating in research and scholarly initiatives. Applicants should be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario. An up-to-date curriculum vitae and cover letter. A written description of training and research experience (two-page maximum). Applicants are encouraged to describe any impact that career interruptions have had on research, academic, and/or clinical scholarly productivity, if applicable. A brief statement describing any contributions made or planned in relation to advancing equity, diversity and inclusion, or inclusive excellence in teaching, research, or service within higher education,



community-based, or other professional settings (two-page maximum). The names and addresses of three skilled referees, including one current or recent supervisor. Letters of reference are notrequiredand will not be reviewed at the application stage; letters of recommendation from referees will be requested at later stages of the search process.
