You will implement an Emergent Curriculum tailored to children's needs, fostering their emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Creating a safe environment while adhering to health standards is crucial, as is working with families and professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster children's overall development through engaging curriculum
• Create a protected and nurturing classroom atmosphere
• Conduct health checks and manage daily classroom records
• Collaborate with families and specialists for holistic care
• Support daily routines and transitions in the classroom
Requirements:
• Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification
• Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR Level B
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Strong communication skills required
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
