Service Plumber / Master Plumber (7+ Years Experience – High-Rise Residential & Commercial)Location: GTA, OntarioCompany: Element Building Systems Inc.Job SummaryElement Building Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Licensed Plumber / Master Plumber to join our growing mechanical division servicing high‑rise residential and commercial buildings across the GTA.The ideal candidate will have robust experience in plumbing service, maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofit, and repair work within occupied high‑rise buildings. This role requires someone who can independently diagnose issues, coordinate work on‑site, and perform plumbing work safely and professionally in active residential and commercial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain plumbing systems in high‑rise residential and commercial buildingsPerform domestic water, sanitary, storm, and hydronic piping repairs and modificationsCarry out valve replacements, riser isolation work, and plumbing shutdown coordinationDiagnose and repair leaks, clogged drains, stack blockages, and piping failuresPerform drain cleaning, snaking, camera inspections, and troubleshooting of drainage systemsService and repair pumps, boilers, expansion tanks, fan coils, heat pumps, and mechanical room piping systemsPerform soldering, brazing, threading, grooving, and pipe assembly (copper, steel, PEX, cast iron)Install and replace plumbing fixtures, shut‑off valves, PRVs, balancing valves, and associated pipingRespond to emergency plumbing service calls and after‑hours troubleshooting when requiredRead and interpret mechanical drawings, riser diagrams,



specifications, and site layoutsCoordinate professionally with property managers, supers, site staff, tenants, and project teamsEnsure all work complies with Ontario Plumbing Code, health & safety regulations, and site proceduresMaintain accurate service reports, material tracking, and work documentationMentor apprentices and junior plumbers on‑site when requiredSupport retrofit projects, capital replacement work, and mechanical shutdown activitiesRequired QualificationsValid Ontario 306A Plumbing License7+ years of plumbing experience in high‑rise residential and/or commercial buildingsStrong experience with domestic water systemsDrainage and sanitary systemsHydronic piping systemsValve replacements and riser workMechanical room pipingPumps, boilers, and plumbing equipmentStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilitiesExperience with soldering, brazing, threading, grooving, and piping installationsAbility to independently handle service calls and site issuesValid driver’s license with reliable transportationLegally authorized to work in CanadaStrong understanding of Ontario construction and safety regulationsPreferred AssetsMaster Plumber LicenseBackflow Prevention Tester Certification (Ontario)
