Join Broadridge’s Governance research team in an early‑career role supporting proxy voting work for internal partners and clients. This role offers hands‑on foundational experience while deepening your understanding of shareholder meetings, voting policies, and governance data. You will work on defined assignments with increasing independence, following established procedures and guidance, as well as developing practical knowledge of proxy voting through training, mentorship, and day‑to‑day execution.Key ResponsibilitiesReview SEC filings, proxy statements, and other meeting materials to capture key facts and support governance analysisMaintain governance‑related data and perform quality checks to ensure records are complete and accurateApply documented client policy instructions to straightforward and moderately complex meeting items, escalating exceptions as neededSupport routine research and reporting related to proxy voting activity and governance trendsPull data from internal systems, organize and validate information in Excel, and assist in preparing team summaries and outputsCollaborate with teammates to resolve data or process issues and ensure timely completion of assigned workDeliver accurate, consistent work while continuing to build subject‑matter knowledge and confidence in the roleOther duties as assignedBasic Skill Level RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Data Analytics, Sustainability, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.Experience: Approximately 1 year of relevant experience in corporate governance,



proxy voting, research, financial markets, data operations, or a related area preferred. Internship or early‑career experience involving document review, data analysis, reporting, or operations is helpful.Interested in financial markets, corporate governance, and the mechanics of proxy voting.Key SkillsBe able to follow process, produce reliable work, and continue developing skills under the guidance of senior analysts and managersBe able to manage recurring tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain quality during high‑volume periodsBe comfortable reviewing detailed documents and working through structured assignments with care and accuracyBe organized, detail‑oriented, and responsive to feedback and coachingExercise sound judgment in routine situations and know when to raise questions or escape issuesCommunicate clearly and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.ToolsComfortable using Excel and learning internal systems, tools, and databasesFamiliarity with large data sets, data quality checks, or introductory Python is a plus, but not required.Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $55,000 – $60,000 CAD.Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
