Tetra Tech is on the lookout for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our Hydropower and Water Resources team. In this role, you will contribute to multidisciplinary projects focusing on hydropower infrastructure from design to commissioning. You’ll work under a Senior Mechanical Engineer, engaging in detailed design work while impacting project strategies and delivering practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical design for hydropower projects
• Lead procurement of turbine and generator systems
• Design and analyze piping and hydraulic structures
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents
• Support construction and commissioning activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
• P.Eng. registration in Canada
• 6–10 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Expertise in hydropower project delivery
• Robust technical documentation and communication skills
