These services are delivered through a variety of onsite Ambulatory Clinics at the Janeway and HSC as well as Outreach Services which have a provincial mandate. The Division Manager directs staff within areas of accountability; encourages professionaldevelopment activities; completes regularperformance evaluations; participates in the recruitment process and ensures fair and consistent application of the collective agreement. They establish staffing requirements and monitor and interpret staff utilization statistics. They establish performance expectations through feedback and guidance for the department and individual employees. The Division Manager is responsible for planning, developing,
implementing and evaluating key directions, objectives, and strategies, quality and risk initiatives, and safety initiatives for patients and staff in a dynamic environment.Job QualificationsEducationBaccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline is required. Master’s Degree is preferred.ExperienceA minimum of five (5) years of acute care experience within the last seven (7) is required. Previous management experience is required.
