DescriptionOFIFC – 219 Front St E, Toronto, ON M5A1E8, CANNote:This job posting will close on June 16, 2026, at 5 PM and this posting is for an existing vacancy.ObjectiveTo develop andretaina highly engaged workforce by executing and supporting all HR operations including implementation of strategic HR processes, systems and policies and ensuring related reporting requirements that support the strategic goals of the OFIFC. To provide HR support to the Friendship Centres.Successful implementation of Human Resources management practicesdemonstratedby employee experience metrics; andStrong contribution and managing HR projects where needed,demonstratedin continuous improvement of HR department’s efficiency.Effectively support the Friendship Centres within HR topics upon their request.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Operations (30%):Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, includingtalent management, compensationandbenefits, performance management, training and development, employee relations, policy development, andpayroll.Manages andfacilitatesHR yearly cycles including salary reviews and performanceappraisals.Assists Sr. Director of HR in providingexpertiseto HR related to building positive employee experience and organizationalculture.Develops,maintains,andimplements the HR processes adhering to legislation including HR tools, policies and procedures related to HR and AdministrationServe as a link between management and employees by handling questions,interpretingand administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.Analyze andmodifycompensation and benefits policies toestablishcompetitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.Develops and delivers information sessions related to HR processes, policies & procedures and Health andSafetyasnecessary.Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, andnew technologiesin human resources, talent management,



and employment law.Human Resources Development (30%):Develops andmaintainsorganizational development items such as organizational chart and job descriptionManages HR development projectsby clarifying projectobjective; setting timetablesand schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing informationinall functional areas ofHR.Assists the Sr. Director of HR in change management and transitions related matters to theprojects.HR Analytics and Reporting (15%):Prepares metrics reports including items related to organizational demographics, administration,retentionand engagement levels for use of OFIFCManagement.Analyzes data and prepares reports toidentifypeople or talent-related challenges and opportunities and develop recommendations to address or capture them.Team Management (10%):Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities ofthe teamand staff relating to employment, compensation, and employee relations.Providesexpertiseon abroadrange of human resources activities, including recruitment, compensation, performance management, talent development, policy compliance, and other related HR functional areas.Serves as a contact forFriendship CentresregardingHR concerns,needsand issues; evaluates situations, navigates and directs to the various resources available.Delivers HR-related training upon FCs’ request.RequirementsCompleted bachelor’s degree in business, human resources management, organizational psychology,
