The position holder will play a key role within the Strategy and Corporate Development team by contributing to Pomerleau’s strategic priorities definition and execution. The team works closely with senior leadership to support the strategic planning process, assess market opportunities and challenges, and contribute to the execution of strategic initiatives. In this context, the role involves delivering rigorous analyses, developing high‑quality executive materials, and supporting the monitoring of strategic initiatives.

What you will do

• Contribute to the strategic planning process by collaborating with internal teams and external partners in gathering and analyzing relevant information
• Conduct value‑added analyses as part of strategic mandates and structure outputs in a clear and concise manner
• Support the development of recommendations and presentations for senior management and the board of directors
• Contribute to the monitoring of strategic initiatives,
  
  
  
  including the preparation of tracking tools and decision‑support materials
• Support the strategy manager in structuring work and delivering outputs related to key strategic priorities

This role could be for you if you have

• 3–5 years of experience in a consulting firm or in a strategy / corporate development role
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen to identify key issues in complex situations
• Ability to produce rigorous analyses and high‑quality deliverables
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively contributing to a team environment
• Strong presentation skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise messages
• Knowledge of the construction or engineering industry is an asset
• Knowledge of finance and financial modelling skills is an asset
