Position Overview

Bao Bakery is looking for a reliable, energetic Bakery Assistant to join our production and storefront team. You will support daily baking operations, prepare ingredients, package fresh goods, and maintain a spotless work workplace during our busy morning rush.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist bakers with measuring ingredients, dough preparation, shaping, and traying baked goods.
- Package, label, and display freshly baked pastries, buns, and specialty treats for front-of-house sales.
- Monitor baking supplies, replenish raw ingredients, and notify management of low inventory.
- Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards across all food prep counters, display cases, and storage spaces.
- Provide occasional support to storefront staff by restocking shelves and greeting guests during peak hours.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Availability:



Must be available between Tuesday – Sunday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM .
- Prior experience in a bakery, commercial kitchen, or food prep setting is preferred, but open to enthusiastic learners.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift bakery supplies (up to 15–20 kg) throughout the shift.
- Strong team communication, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification is an asset.
