What You Will DoProvidence Health Care's Urban Health team is accepting applications for casual Overdose Prevention Site (OPS) Program Coordinators to help support our OPS at St. Paul's Hospital.If you have a passion for a harm reduction‑focussed approach to supporting patients using substances, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a tight‑knit and supportive interdisciplinary team.What you will be doingReporting to the Patient Care Manager, the OPS Program Coordinator coordinates the day‑to‑day operations of the OPS, supports Peer Support workers and provides leadership and support in service delivery.Supervises OPS Peer Support workers, coordinates and co‑facilitates Peer orientation and ongoing training, identifies opportunities for skill enhancement, and provides Peer‑based mentoring.Promotes a protected, healthy setting, communicates with PHC services including Housekeeping, Food Services, Security and Unit services.What You BringEducation, Training and ExperienceA level of education and experience equivalent to a recognized Certificate in Social Services or as an Addiction Service Worker plus two (2) years recent, related experience.Lived or living experience relevant to the client group served.Completion of a recognized Peer Support Training program or commitment to complete a peer support training program within orientation period.Peer support experience in substance use, mental health,
