About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Business Development to spearhead the strategy and execution of partnerships that will enhance and expand its ecosystem. This senior, hands-on role is pivotal in driving the growth of the platform, with a focus on bringing in new and well-known intellectual property, fostering the creator economy, and developing strategic opportunities with various partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the partnership process, from origination to management, and will work closely with the VP of Operations & Legal and the Japan Growth team. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in business development, particularly in the areas of gaming, consumer technology, entertainment, media, marketplaces,



or creator platforms, and the ability to build and scale partnership programs that deliver significant results.

Applicants for the Head of Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a relevant field, with a strong emphasis on commercial judgment, negotiation, and the ability to work with a diverse range of partners. The role requires a candidate with excellent communication and relationship management skills, who is adept at leading cross-functional teams and is comfortable in a quick-paced, startup environment. Experience in VR, online communities, and user-generated content is a plus, as is a network of existing relationships in the gaming, entertainment, media, or technology sectors.
