Job Summary
The Bartender provides exceptional beverage service by preparing and serving drinks, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment while following responsible alcohol service and resort standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepareand serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according toestablished recipes and service standards.
- Provideoutstanding guest service by engaging with guests in a friendly,qualified, and effective manner.
- Verifyguest identification and ensure compliance with liquor laws andresponsible beverage service practices.
- Accuratelyprocess orders and payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintaina clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including replenishing liquor,beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
- Monitorinventory levels and notify management of stock shortages or orderingneeds.
- Preparegarnishes, mixes, and other bar ingredients to ensure efficient service.
- Followall food safety, health, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Handleguest concerns professionally and resolve service issues promptly toensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaboratewith servers, kitchen staff, and fellow bartenders to ensure seamlessservice during peak periods.
- Performopening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation, cleaning, andsecuring the bar area.
- Maintainknowledge of current beverage menus, seasonal promotions, and resortevents to provide recommendations and enhance the guest experience.
- Contributeto a positive team environment while supporting resort standards ofexcellence.

Qualifications
- Previousbartending experience in a restaurant, resort, hotel, or hospitalityenvironment is preferred.
- ValidServe It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS) certification or willingness to obtain.
- Strongknowledge of cocktails, beer, wine,
and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Abilityto multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Strongattention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and processingtransactions.
- Flexibleavailability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Abilityto stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Dakota Dunes Resort is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
