In this role, you will manage patient accounts, interact with Patient Support Programs (PSPs), and use Kroll software for billing functions. As a patient-facing specialist, you’ll facilitate co-pay submissions and support Retro-billing initiatives, ensuring productive claims processing. Your expertise will make a significant impact on improving healthcare access and equity for Canadians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and follow up on patient accounts and AR
• Organize co-pay amounts with Kroll software
• Reconcile payments from PSPs and patients
• Support Retro-billing processes and invoicing
• Optimize billing claims for accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years as a pharmacy assistant in Specialty Pharmacy
• At least 3 years in bookkeeping within healthcare
• Familiarity with PSP and third-party payment portals
• Understanding of patient payment collections
• Experience navigating public funding plans
