The YMCA Y Mind Program helps young people experiencing symptoms of mild to moderate anxiety to learn healthy coping strategies and connect with like-minded youth in a safe and encouraging group environment. Delivery may be in-person or virtual Major Responsibilities - in this position, you will:

Work with another facilitator to deliver the Y Mind Program Intake and assessment of program participants, both in-person and by Zoom Participate in planning, information sessions, assessment, evaluation, and follow-up Must be available for prep and debriefing of all sessions, including information sessions Keep accurate records and provide statistics and other relevant information to the Y Mind Coordinator as requested Maintain a solid understanding of available resources and provide information, support, and referrals to community agencies for applicants and participants as indicated and available Qualification - you bring:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably Masters level education in a mental health field. Experience with individuals and groups of youth with mental health challenges. Solid communication skills with diverse populations, both spoken and written. Successful candidate will be required to provide 3 satisfactory references. Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable sector search issued no later than six (6)
