Become a vital contributor at the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a Policy Analyst. Engage in policy research and synthesis while working in a hybrid model from Vancouver, B.C.
This temporary, full-time role will focus on supporting nursing and midwifery regulation until October 2027. As a Policy Analyst, you'll analyze trends and emerging issues through evidence synthesis and report generation. Your work will drive organizational decision-making and influence standards support initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: • Plan and implement research strategies for policy analysis • Gather evidence via surveys, interviews, and scans • Develop background papers and briefing materials • Analyze consultation requests and identify themes • Manage survey processes and coordinate feedback
Requirements: • Master’s degree in a health-related field • 5 to 7 years of healthcare experience • Proficient in research methodologies and data analysis • Solid communication and project management skills • Commitment to Indigenous cultural safety and humility
