Job Title: Technician, Flight Services EngineeringPrimary Location: Global 5500/6500Organization: Aerospace CanadaShift: RegularEmployee Status: RegularRequisition: 13035 Technician, Flight Services EngineeringBenefitsInsurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more)Competitive base salaryRetirement savings planEmployee Assistance ProgramTele Health ProgramResponsibilitiesPreparation and functioning of fuel, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and powerplant systems as they relate to preparing the aircraft for flight, and certification.Support Flight operations in accordance with defined procedures.Carry out duties of any lower classification as it relates to aircraft assembly (sealing, sheet metal, electrical). Include troubleshooting/maintenance and/or repair of structure/systems to meet defined airworthiness requirements.Source and follow procedures, drawings, and production methods in accordance with carrying out duties; operate in all weather conditions to support preflight activities.Meet ramp and safety requirements at any controlled aerodrome.Acquire and maintain a Restricted Radio Operator License.Operate a vehicle within any controlled aerodrome.Perform certification duties on behalf of the company per Bombardier Quality Manual and Maintenance Policy Manual; may acquire an AircraftCertification Authority (ACA) signatory approval when required.QualificationsM2 license.Minimum five (5) years of relevant aeronautics work experience as a mechanic and/or in related field.Restricted Radio Operator License.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Ability to work afternoon and night shift.Ability to work at Mississauga or Waterloo site.Hourly wage: CAD $50.70 in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Bombardier is an equal prospect employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender, identity, sexual orientation, age, immigration status, disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics to apply.
